Business description

We started as a Birmingham-based online retailer in 2000, growing to £12 million turnover. Born from this retail success, we formed magic42 as an eCommerce development agency. We specialise in B2B, B2C, migrations and integrations to get the best from your business.

Global, multi-store Shopify Plus platform integration with Aptean Prima Solutions, synchronising stock, orders and fulfilment via our middleware app (iPaaS). We collaborated with Weekend Offender to plan what data to synchronise, the transformations needed and the optimal schedules to create the best customer experience.

B2C Shopify Plus replatform with product configurators and integrations to RetailSystem, ShipperHQ, Doofinder and Klaviyo using our iPasS. This involved migration from Magento 2 with Vue Storefront and integration with their ERP system. The custom product builder enables customers to match separate bed components, fabrics and sizes together, alongside a nominated day of delivery via ShipperHQ.

Multisite, B2C migration from Magento to Shopify Plus, including integration with Aptean's Prima Solutions ERP. Development work includes custom-built tag-based variant that enables users to access different colours of the same product. We also built an intelligent size guide pop-out, horizontal stacked collection filters, and an advanced search functionality via Doofinder.

B2B Shopify support, development and SAP Business One integration consultancy for BoxMart. This ensured stock integrity between BoxMart’s bundle solutions and SAP Business One. Key work included re-imagination and building a new bundling solution to improve the client's website UX experience and downstream Customer Relationship Management (CRM) information.

B2C and B2B migration of global automotive parts and platform to Shopify. We built a new homepage part finder and Doofinder search solution, following a complex site restructure to help grow the site's traffic and sales. Products received Ease of Fitment and Part Guides to help the customer journey. Integrated ShipperHQ for real-time, global price calculations based on weight and dimensions, too.
