Bluffworks, a technical apparel company, needed custom Shopify Plus development to realize the complexity of their product options and fulfillment logic without sacrificing a strong brand identity. From product pages to checkout, Hidden Gears has provided user experience (UX) focused optimizations over a strong 5+ year partnership.

Over a series of  iterations and development, we improved UX and design while diving deep into the setup of this headless commerce site built on React, Contentful, and Shopify. Touching nearly all aspects of the site, including a fully redone PDP and adjustments to collection, landing, about pages, and quiz results; we also debugging reporting and technical discovery for new features.

Field Company is a new classic American brand selling the lightest, smoothest, and nicest cast iron pan on the market. Working with typography specialist POLY, we created an extensible design system which supports a  best-in-class direct to consumer shopping experience and in-depth educational content that delves into the art and science of cuisine.
