Crafter's Companion were experiencing many challenges with their Magento website. It was expensive, difficult to maintain, suffered from security and downtime issues, and wasn't driving sufficient revenue.

Herd were engaged to create and migrate to a futureproofed global eCommerce site to maximise sales and revenue, whilst maintaining a community feel on the site for loyal crafting fans.

The primary goal of this project was to re-platform four of Vertu Motors' ancillary eCommerce websites from two bespoke platforms to Shopify. This would create stores which are scalable in functionality, maintainable, with a lower total cost of ownership.

Herd proposed a careful migration to Shopify, mitigating visibility decline with custom Theme development, and ongoing SEO support throughout.

Steamforged Games needed an immersive experience for their global tabletop gaming audience.

The brief for the new website build was to migrate the existing site from Contentful to Shopify, whilst creating an immersive and engaging content hub, as well as a place for visitors to purchase their favourite games.
