Lazy Oaf’s store was on Magento but for a number of reasons the decision was made to move away from this platform. After considering other ecommerce providers, it was clear that Shopify Plus was the perfect solution. Lazy Oaf then decided to work with Eastside Co - we were best placed to design and build the site, as well as being experienced practitioners when it came to migrations from Magento.

REN Skincare is all about ethics and simple products, so it was essential that the website provided a clear and natural experience. Stripping back the members sign up section on the homepage was important for ease of use - making it easy for customers increased the chance of data capture and cleaned up the homepage. The navigation was also simplified to allow customers to browse intuitively.

The initial challenge was to launch fast-moving campaign-based activity while building out a sustainable account structure: to drive consistent revenue as well as focusing on new launch activity.

The account has been stratospherically successful through peak trading: every £1 spent on social media advertising yielded over £116 in revenue. We have seen excellent conversion volume throughout.
